Accounts Receivable Associate - Outdoor Industry

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSOCIATE

Working under the guidance of the Far Bank Credit Manager, your role within the Accounts Receivables Department will support all four of our fly-fishing related brands of Sage, Redington, RIO Products, and Fly Water Travel. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you review and provide maintenance for our Big Box Accounts and conduct research and investigations that are relevant to internal and external contacts. Your research skills assist you in tracking down and restoring accounting documentation problems and discrepancies, and you maintain ongoing and accurate records of those open issues.

You provide backup for the daily functions of accounts receivable including invoicing, payment processing, identifying and posting payments, and application of payment. You assist with monthly and yearly reporting/projects as well as provide elite customer service both internally and externally. Throughout the course of the workday, you provide constant, clear, and friendly phone and email communications with customers. You help them to understand that to us it is more than just an account, it is helping each other be successful. QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE AND COLLECTIONS ASSOCIATE

* At least 2 years of experience with accounts receivable
* Knowledge of accounting procedures
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
* Great customer service skills

D365 or similar database experience preferred, but not required. Are you able to effectively prioritize tasks? Are you able to shift between projects and tasks with limited notice? Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you attentive to detail and well organized? Do you have experience in finance? Do you enjoy working with numbers? WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8 hours a day. There is some flexibility as to how the work week is structured as long as it is consistent.
