Far Bank Enterprise has created the new position of Digital Marketing Manager (DMM).

As the leader in fly fishing, Far Bank is comprised of the greatest brands in the industry: Sage, Redington, RIO Products, and Fly Water Travel.  If you are looking for a collaborative work place in a fun, fishy, outdoorsy environment than this may just be the right fit for you. 
As the DMM and as part of our Marketing Team, you will collaborate with our brand's marketing managers and DTC Sales Manager to
develop and drive the off-site to on-site digital marketing efforts for all Far Bank brands.

The ideal candidate understands how to build data-driven SEM programs that are in line with our unique brand personalities and genuine connection with the fly fishing community. We're looking for someone that has a strong working knowledge of Google AdWords, Amazon Advertising, 3rd party retargeting/prospecting platforms, and SEO best practices, that will grow with us and with this role as we continue to enhance our connection to the fly fishing community.

Working in a team environment, the DMM needs to be tech savvy and on the leading edge of digital marketing technologies/platforms as well as show the learning agility needed to crunch data and keep up in the ever-changing world of digital marketing.

This position is located on Bainbridge Island, WA and reports to the VP of Marketing.

Redington was acquired in 2003 by Sage. POSITION SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Manager is a full-time position that is responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring a holistic off-site to on-site digital marketing strategy across multiple channels, platforms and categories. This role identifies trends and opportunities in order to optimize the Far Bank brands' (Sage, Redington, RIO Products, Fly Water Travel) digital marketing budget/spend based on current insights. The Digital Marketing Manager leads the integrated digital marketing and drives site growth through data-driven marketing, digital demand generation campaigns, and search engine optimization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience in a digital marketing role for CPG, sporting goods equipment, or a brand with an emotional connection to its consumers
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing platforms, technology, trends, and sophisticated analytics.
  • Expertise in SEO, SEM (AdWords, shopping feeds, retargeting/prospecting, etc.), Amazon advertising, and email marketing.
  • Experience with digital analytics reporting tools.
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Understanding and ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator)
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to work hard, travel, and work weekends and/or long hours.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, self-directed, and outgoing personality.
  • Proven project management skills including planning, budgeting, time management, prioritization, problem solving, decision making, and communication - both written and verbal.
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong interest in fly fishing and/or the greater outdoor and active lifestyle.

 

Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree 5 years prior experience in developing, marketing and selling preferably in the outdoor industry or high-end active lifestyle products
