JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Solid experience either through professional jobs or personal hobbies and crafts which require dexterity and fine attention to detail (Previous sewing experience a bonus)
• Working with hand tools
• Ability to work with little supervision and to multi-task and problem solve
• Demonstrated ability to cross-train in differing areas and shift amongst roles as needed
• Participation in and support of team projects while able to work independently
• Mandatory overtime may be required for an undetermined amount of time.

SUMMARY

This position works directly with the cutting and sewing of our fly rod bags. Experience using an industrial sewing machine is necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with measuring, cutting and sewing of both fabric and thread
• Follows written and verbal work instruction provided in the specifications
• Cross train in various work-centers as directed by the supervisor
• Support all continuous improvement activities within the functional area
• An active and supportive team player

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma
• Involved in artistry or crafts on a personal or professional level
• Prior experience sewing in a manufacturing setting is helpful
• Experience with bias sewing is preferred
• Manufacturing/assembly experience helpful but not required
• Basic math skills
• Excellent hand / eye coordination while able to work with repetitive tasks on daily basis

COMPENSATION

• Dependent on experience. Base rate starts at $15.50 an hour
