SUMMARY

RIO Products Int'l is a brand recognized as a leader in the fly-fishing industry. Based in Idaho Falls, we are looking for a candidate with drive, energy, and a desire to improve processes while working with a group of fun, outdoor loving teammates.

The Maintenance Technician is an important partner to both Production and R & D by providing maintenance experience and service that exceeds customer's expectations.  The focus is to ensure the RIO facilities are maintained to the highest quality to meet the operational directives of the organization and fellow team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in support of production team while owning individual machine tasks
• Demonstrated ability to aggressively and appropriately problem solve
• Operation and oversight of light duty manufacturing equipment
• Responsible for clear oral and written communication
• Able to work with and lift heavy weights
• All other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in reading and comprehending engineering specification
• Experience in working with manufacturing equipment and automated machinery is preferred
• Strong mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Proven team player
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Current opening is on graveyard shift with potential for shift change late summer or fall.
