Production - Fly Rod Assembly

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

This position offers you the chance to utilize your creative skills and apply a personal touch by assembling hand made fly rods that are sold around the world.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

The production team shift is Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm, with additional required OT every other Friday. This schedule was designed to benefit the employees with a 3 - day weekend every other week.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE?

As a member of the Far Bank production team, you play an integral part in how each Sage Fly rod is assembled. Coming onboard you will work with experienced trainers to teach you techniques and provide you with instructions on how to wrap and tie guides as well as apply epoxy coatings for the end stage rod production process. All our rods are handmade which means that each rod is uniquely different from the next, thus gives you the privilege of knowing that the final product has your seal of quality and approval before being sold to the lucky angler. Interaction and communication within the production team are vital to our culture here at Far Bank, and is why we take pride in our onboarding process to see that every employee has the opportunity to learn and grow with the company.

• Good eye identifying defects to ensure high quality production
• Ability to read and follow directions to create different rod finishes
• Ability to focus and be on your feet for extended periods of time

COMPENSATION

Range: $20.00 - 20.50/hour

Benefit package: Far Bank employees (and their families) are able to enroll in Medical, Dental, and basic life insurance. Also, employees will be able to accrue 3.38 hours of Vacation for every 80 hours worked (2 weeks/year) and 1 hr sick leave for every 40 hours worked (~52hr/year).
