Production Lead

POSITION Shift Lead, Production Department

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Department Manager, this position will lead the daily functions of the shift to provide a safe, harmonious, and productive environment at the workplace.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Active participation in Production activities
• Provide direction to team members to optimize workflow and achieve Department objectives.
• Leadership for the shift is under the guidance of the Rods Supervisor, inclusive of shifting team members and task assignments as situation requires.
• Clear, consistent communication with both the team and the Supervisor.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and ability to report as requested.
• Participation in Kata meetings and practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 1-year experience working with Sage Production
• Demonstrated ability to work with changing staff needs and situations while maintaining production responsibilities.
• Good communicator (verbal and written) and demonstrated, active listening skills
• Positive attitude that influences team environment
• Demonstrate ability to be impartial and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to provide critical feedback to them members
• Leads by example
