Summer Production Associate

Location: Far Bank Enterprises (Sage Manufacturing), Bainbridge Island

Work Hours:

Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 5:00 AM - 12:30 PM (please specify preferred shift)

Duration: Summer months of June, July and August with specific dates to be determined upon hire.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented employee for a Summer Production Associate at our fly rod manufacturing facility. This position is perfect for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in composite materials and manufacturing processes within a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the production of high-quality fly rods, following specific work instructions and safety protocols.

- Handle materials preparation and processes under the guidance of experienced technicians.

- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet strict standards.

- Participate in team meetings to discuss production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Currently or previously enrolled in a high school composites program.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

- Interest in manufacturing and engineering principles.

- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
