Warehouse Lead - 2nd shift Outdoor Company

POSITION: Warehouse Lead 2nd shift

Far Bank Enterprises is the holding company for 4 outdoor fly fishing brands: Sage, Redington, RIO Products, Int'l and Fly Water Travel.

The Distribution Center (DC) for our brands is based on Bainbridge Island. Our small, agile and close-knit team is constantly on the move as we provide our products to customers around the globe.

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for supporting the Distribution Center's goal to deliver extraordinary customer service while providing exceptional products in quality and performance to the customer. Furthermore, they will be supporting the Distribution Center in Picking, Packing, and Shipping inventory in a team environment.

SHIFT: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Overtime as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify that items picked match pick slip.
• Assist in staging and preparing larger customer compliance orders for LTL shipments
• Assist shipping coordinator with the loading of trucks for outbound shipments
• Tape and label outbound packages shipments including compliance accounts
• Follow company procedures and guidelines for safety
• Perform other DC functions, as necessary.
• Act as the leader on duty during the PM shift in the distribution center, guiding as needed to the small team.
• Own and ensure the building is secure at the end of the shift.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with little supervision and to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well under pressure and tight timelines.
• Able to lift to 50-70 pounds and be on your feet all day
• Shipping experience in a direct to customer environment preferred.
• Fork lift training a plus.
